A long overdue pic for Abel and Caine because they're awesome. And Oni's just thrown into the middle. Have some closeups! It's a dark image, both in theme and colors. But I was having trouble finding a balance between something that looks dark on my screen but also light enough so people with darker screen settings don't just see black as there is quite a bit of detail.. For those of you who play FFXII....you know Vyraal (man that mark was hard :/ ) anyway, comission for Ksilebo of what else, a hexadragon :3 hes actually been waiting for this thing for over a two years (ouch!) and i misunderstood what he wanted, so i always put it off xD; but then we talked and he wanted something fairly simple, and this is the result darker than my usual works, i hope thats not a bad thing.

I imagined up a story involving two Chinese zodiac animals for my character design class. I thought they could travel the world and meet different mythological characters. In the American southwest, they'd meet Jack, the coyote, and Laughing Shadow, the crow.

Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. I hadn't done any proper color work with this group yet, so I decided to do a little poster-style illustration involving the three of them. That's not Serafine's usual getup - I suppose she can't pass up the opportunity to get dolled up for a special occasion, though. She's dressed as her personal version of a Voodoo mambo. The image was sketched in pencil and painted with a tablet and Photoshop.

Just about done with this but an upload in case I don't get around to it. Need to finish the gazelle, clean up the back legs some more and detail the ground. Pleased with the action in this and will probably move the composition a wee bit more to the right expanding the left canvas.
